Char Midkiff is a License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia College. Char retired in 2010 from the City of Orlando/Downtown Development Board as the Manager of the Downtown Orlando Information Center which included an internship program she wrote and implemented. While completing her tenure of 27 years with the City she returned to college to obtain counseling skills to better assist people on their life journey.

Char genuinely loves people. Char Listens and offers hope, help, and healing. She enjoys listening and helping individuals become mentally whole, healthy, while striving to reach their God given gifts, talents, and dreams. She has a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and it serves as foundation for the counseling process.

Char has 12 years of experience in working with Adults, Teens, and Children in the areas of: ADHD, Anger Management, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Career, Depression, Emotional Issues, Grief, Life and Health Transitions, Sexual Abuse Victims, and Substance Abuse.

Char is married to Steve, and they are also business partners of CharListens, LLC. Together they have a wonderful family of adult children, grandchildren, God children, God grandchildren and a furry boy Brody.
